🇲🇦 Morocco (Africa)

Visiting: Recommend CautionLGBT+ visiting: Not Recommended

Morocco is chaos, but the fun kind. Haggle in Marrakech in the morning, sleep in the desert that night, and let Fes swallow you whole for a day or two — the trains make it all surprisingly easy. The food alone is worth the trip, and your money goes a long way once you're out of the tourist hotspots. One thing to know before booking: homosexuality is illegal here, and plenty of LGBT+ travellers choose to skip it for that reason.
